Join us on Friday, December 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Shapiro Screening Room (second floor of the Shapiro Library building, room 2160) to learn about gameful pedagogy with a look at what the University of Michigan-Dearborn is doing with GradeCraft in their Talent Gateway.
This meeting will focus on gameful pedagogy, GradeCraft, and the Talent Gateway of U-M Dearborn. We will be joined by Rachel Niemer, the Director of the Gameful Learning Lab in the Office of Academic Innovation, and Laurie Sutch, the Executive Director of the Talent Gateway at U-M Dearborn.
We will learn about how gameful pedagogies can create engaging learning environments and a demonstration of the Talent Gateway will showcase an example of how gameful learning is being leveraged beyond the classroom. In concluding, we will consider how gameful learning could be applied to our youth outreach programming.
