Join us on Friday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Digital Education & Innovation Lab (500 E. Washington) for Innovation Hour, a gathering hosted by our office two times per month featuring a different theme each session.
During this Innovation Hour, all who use or would like to learn more about using games in learning contexts are invited to attend. Participants will share experiences and aspirations, discuss game design and facilitation and brainstorm ways games might help achieve student learning goals.
What games for learning have you designed or facilitated? What games or gameful learning principles have you considered but not yet implemented? What are the benefits or challenges of designing and using games in different learning contexts? We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Academic Innovation welcomes faculty, students and staff to stop by for our unstructured “drop-in” time. Come discuss ideas, share experiences, have questions answered and/or meet members of the Academic Innovation team.
We also invite you to share your vision for the ideal academic community by contributing an experience, idea or recommendation to the Ideas2017 Challenge during the Innovation Hour.
