Kris Steinhoff

Lead Developer

Role: Kris leads the software development for a number of projects in the Digital Innovation Greenhouse (DIG). He collaborates with other members of the Greenhouse team to scale innovative educational applications into services that are available to the whole University. He works with groups across campus to establish the technical architecture and data flows needed by DIG applications.

Experience: Prior to AI, Kris developed systems on several technology platforms to provide services to U-M, including web mail, single-sign on, password management and service provisioning. Before moving to Ann Arbor, he worked for the University of Chicago as a systems administrator and application developer, specializing in academic technologies in support of teaching and learning.
