Roughly one year after universities all over the country rapidly shifted to distance learning, three leaders in online education research and pedagogy are co-sponsoring a new conference focused on new and emerging research related to teaching and learning during the pandemic.

The Pandemic Pedagogy Research Symposium will be a virtual event held May 5. Submissions will be accepted through March 15 and may represent completed research or works in progress with preliminary findings.

The symposium is sponsored by Duke Learning Innovation, the Center for Academic Innovation at University of Michigan and Penn’s Online Learning Initiative. Duke Learning Innovation will be hosting the virtual conference.

The symposium will feature interactive presentations and panel discussions, and potential presenters should submit an abstract of up to 500 words by the March 15 deadline.
