Join us on Thursday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Room 806  in the Hatcher Graduate Library Administration Space (8th floor of Hatcher South) for a meeting around digital tools and youth outreach. 

Digital technology is changing the way we live, learn, and connect with the world. For those of us working with youth, this technology presents both challenges and opportunities to our goals and impacts. The Center for Educational Outreach and the Office of Academic Innovation invite you to join us for a series of conversations this year to explore the relationships between digital technology, learning and engagement in K-12, and success in higher education. Questions we hope to consider include:

  • What roles can digital technology play in residential and commuter opportunities to enhance learning and engagement?
  • How digital technology strengthen and build long-term relationships with U-M?
  • How can data from digital technologies be leveraged to assess and improve outcomes?
  • How and when should data be used in engaging youth and families?

We’ll use this first meeting to share our ideas, hear from you, and set an agenda for the year.
