Event Details

The Center for Academic Innovation’s (CAI) Call for Proposals, Addressing Global Challenges in an Interconnected World, is currently open. We invite faculty colleagues from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds to connect with us to explore creating high-quality, innovative learning experiences that highlight the expertise of U-M for a global audience. Proposals on all topics are welcome.

CAI is hosting a virtual information session about the Call for Proposals on Wednesday, November 3 at 12:00 pm. Faculty will be able to learn more about the MOOC proposal process, ask questions, and gain insights into the world of open and online learning.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Liz Gerber, Jack L. Walker, Jr. Professor of Public Policy at the Ford School and Patrick Barry, Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Digital Academic Initiatives at the Law School, who have collaborated with CAI on various initiatives and MOOC series. They will share their experiences and perspectives on the MOOC development process, learner community, and best practices.
