How can the data from learners’ video annotations help us understand the interactions within a video?
Join Pat Herbst and his team as they describe how they are beginning to explore the different ways video and video annotations can help learners and researchers understand classroom dynamics.  They have developed an application, LessonSketch, that includes a video annotation tool that produces rich data about how viewers are interpreting what they are seeing in the video.  The team is very interested in exploring collaborations with individuals and teams from other disciplinary contexts where video is, or could be, used to help learners develop expertise in interpersonal interactions.
