Event Details

At the Center for Academic Innovation, we host a variety of different events with a wide range of guest speakers and formats to suit the needs of our various audiences. However, often times we like to amplify events around U-M’s campus and beyond from partners or colleagues that align with our mission. This event falls into that category and we hope to see you there!

This interactive synchronous session will introduce anti-racist pedagogy as an effective framework for instructors teaching about race and racial inequity. Participants in this workshop will be introduced to the history, goals, and fundamental principles of anti-racist pedagogy. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about and collectively reflect on strategies for employing an anti-racist pedagogy in their course design and classroom practice.
