Event Details

Interested in applying for the Public Engagement Faculty Fellowship? Join members of the Center for Academic Innovation team to discuss the program, application, and benefits of participation.

The Center for Academic Innovation, in partnership with public engagement units across campus, supports University of Michigan-Ann Arbor faculty in the new Public Engagement Faculty Fellowship. Public Engagement Fellows will strengthen their public engagement skills, connect with a community of experienced faculty and public engagement professionals at U-M, and develop innovative projects to serve the public good with support from the Center for Academic Innovation and other campus units.

The Public Engagement Faculty Fellowship aims to:

  • Meet President Schlissel’s charge to expand our public purpose by bringing more faculty into public engagement and creating new ways to increase scholarship impact.
  • Support faculty-articulated needs and create opportunities to develop skills and launch ambitious, innovative public engagement projects.
  • Advance public engagement efforts regardless of partner, context, audience, or type of public engagement.
