Join us on Friday, October 6 for a day-long symposium in celebration of the University of Michigan’s 200th anniversary and the 90th anniversary of the School of Information. Leading experts from the fields of information, technology, public and special libraries and entrepreneurship will present their views on the present and future of information and society.

This event will feature U-M alumni and friends from across the country, including venture capitalist Roger Ehrenberg, Chief Technology Officer of Walt Disney Studios, Jamie Voris, and best-selling author of Book Lust and Executive Director of the Washington Center for the Book at Seattle Public Library, Nancy Pearl. Alumni will have a chance to hear from U-M School of Information faculty and students with topics ranging from libraries to information of the future. The event features student showcases and a reception.
