Professor Dragomir Radev has designed this online course to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and experience required to better understand and build Natural Language Processing systems. The new course offering presents a framework built on fundamental, linguistic and computational concepts to help learners understand the possibilities and limits of technology in regards to natural language processing systems. With the skills taught in this course, programming experts will be able to build more robust and useful systems while linguistics scholars will have the opportunity to work through linguistic theories and apply them through algorithms to create products. This course is designed to be applicable to a wide range of educational and professional fields, both internationally and residentially.
