Bachelor’s Degree, Theatre and Interpretation, Central Michigan University
Growing up, I remember hearing my dad say he hoped to always be “accused of being teachable.” As a lifelong learner myself, I’ve experienced how transformational quality continuous education can be. That’s why I’m proud to join the Center for Academic Innovation (CAI), where we’re working toward a future in which education connects and empowers learners everywhere, helping them reach their full potential. Every day, I’m inspired to collaborate with a team that invests in making this vision real through innovation, technology, and access.
Charlyn is a Marketing Communications Specialist at the CAI, where she helps craft compelling stories and engaging digital content for Michigan Online, the University of Michigan’s destination for online learning. Before joining the CAI, she worked at Baker College as the institution’s Social Media Marketing Manager and then as Photo & Video Producer. Before moving to higher education, Charlyn worked in the theatre as both an actress and a stage manager. She credits this background with shaping her creative sensibilities, her adaptability to new challenges, and her deep appreciation for storytelling in all its forms.
