Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

During my time as a student, I was fortunate to witness the beginnings of massive open online courses at the University of Michigan. This experience sparked a lasting interest in online education. The Center for Academic Innovation combines my technical interests and passion for improving access through technology. As a Michigan graduate, I’m excited to return to my academic roots and help shape the future of education at an institution that has led the way in online learning innovation.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Daniel is a software developer with the Center for Academic Innovation, where he works on Michigan Online. Previously, he worked as a full-stack developer in the human resources technology field, building innovative hiring experiences tailored to the needs of small businesses. Prior to that, he worked building international e-commerce marketplaces and tools for mobile application developers.
