Bachelor of Arts, Miami University, College of Arts & Sciences
I identify with the Academic Innovation’s mission of creating a culture of innovation in learning because I have seen the impact that comes with challenging the traditional educational techniques. I am excited by the prospect of helping the 19 different schools and colleges within the University of Michigan change the landscape of higher education. I enjoy working on a diverse team who pushes me to learn and grow and challenges my thinking.
Emily collaborates with faculty, content experts, learners, administrators, vendors, and other stakeholders to manage the design and development of online courses and other learning initiatives at Academic Innovation. This work is done by applying project management, communication, and consultative skills while overseeing the timely execution and consistency of project deliverables.
Prior to joining the Academic Innovation team, Emily helped to coordinate two experiential learning courses at the Ross School of Business. Emily’s work was focused on providing students the ability to learn by working directly with company partners on real business challenges. Additionally, Emily also has experience in event coordination with the University of Michigan Athletic department where she assisted in the planning and execution of special events at the Big House and Crisler Center.
