I chose to work at the Center for Academic Innovation because I wanted to conduct meaningful research that would help improve people’s lives. As a proud University of Michigan alumni, I was excited to be back on campus and to contribute towards the learning experiences of others. Beyond the details of my job, I was eager to join a collaborative organization that celebrated diverse experiences, invested in their employees, and provided ample opportunities for growth and personal development.
Kristi will be conducting research on people’s thoughts and feelings about various educational topics and their career aspirations to help shape online learning programs and certificates.
Prior to the Center for Academic Innovation, Kristi worked in the Psychology Department at the University of Michigan and conducted experimental research on close relationships, personality, and hormones. She also worked for an NBA team where she conducted survey research and focus groups on fan experience, marketing, and partnerships.
