Lindsey Depledge

Behavioral Scientist

Why I Choose to work at Academic Innovation

I have always had a passion for bringing social impact into my work. Studies show that our education impacts our health, wellbeing, and success in life, but unfortunately, many people don’t have access to education. AI has a powerful mission to democratize education and take part in the future of learning. I chose to work here to take part of that change and create real world impact in higher ed.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

As a Behavioral Scientist, Lindsey applies behavior change strategies to Academic Innovation’s suite of software tools and online learning experiences. She develops interventions by utilizing research and communication techniques, like personalized messaging, to drive behavior change in learners.

Before working at AI, Lindsey worked for a health-tech startup in California, using data and behavioral science to create health behavior change. Prior to her experience in the healthcare space, she was based in London, UK, using behavioral science in escape rooms to understand teamwork
