I came to the CAI because I value the opportunity to collaborate with faculty from diverse disciplines to create engaging, human-centered online courses. I thrive on implementing effective pedagogical strategies that support student learning while fostering connection and empathy in the online environment. Being part of the CAI enables me to apply my expertise in ways that genuinely impact both faculty and students.
Megan Patrick is an experienced online instructor, instructional designer, and graphic designer with a strong background in transitioning face-to-face learning experiences into high-quality online formats. In her current role at the CAI, she collaborates with faculty to design engaging and effective online courses that meet the needs of today’s learners. Her work is guided by a commitment to fostering trust and empathy throughout the course design process, ensuring seamless partnerships between instructional designers and faculty.
Megan earned her Ed.D. in Leadership and Innovation in September 2024. Her research focuses on improving collaboration in the online course design process, emphasizing strategies to strengthen communication, build relationships, and enhance the overall design experience.
