I work at Academic Innovation because our team, our processes, and our products allow me to try learn constantly, experiment with new ideas, and have a direct impact on users.
As a behavioral scientist, I design and implement interventions for residential course software tools and online learning experiences. I currently spend most of my time on Tandem, a software tool that supports instructors and students with teamwork. I also work with the Teach-Out team that delivers short online learning experiences. I’m interested in how we can make calls to action for participants in Teach-Outs. Before this role, I worked in early stage design, user discovery, and business development for health technology.
For working hours: behavioral interventions, interviewing, qualitative research, copy editing, information architecture, and solution or functional design. For outside the office: backpacking/canoe camping, bike repair, walking shelter dogs, starting and abandoning hobbies.
