Digital Media Coordinator

Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

It is exhilarating to be part of a dynamic and elevated team at one of the leading public institutions in the world. The Center for Academic Innovation is shaping and redefining education through a multitude of learning experiences. Being able to share these cutting edge experiences with a worldwide audience through my position, is one of the many reasons I chose to work here. It is so exciting to promote the extraordinary work my talented colleagues create for life-long learners every day.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

As the Digital Media Coordinator, Samantha is responsible for maintaining a strong branded voice through the Academic Innovation and Michigan Online digital media platforms. She is also responsible for the management, creation, and execution of an on-brand social media strategy, as well as the technical support for digital media at the Center’s many events.

Prior to joining U-M, Samantha worked as a Communications and Marketing Specialist at Auburn University where she implemented a successful digital media marketing strategy for the largest department on campus. While at AU, she gained extensive experience creating short-form content and executing online social media campaigns for Auburn University’s Facilities division. Before joining Auburn University, Samantha worked as a Packaging Design Coordinator, for the pet food brand, VitaKraft Sun Seed. Her packaging designs can be found hanging on pet store shelves across the U.S.
