Master of Arts, Sport Administration, Central Michigan University
I absolutely love being able to show the U-M community and beyond all of the amazing work that is being done by my talented colleagues at Academic Innovation. Events are an extension of the Center and I enjoy seeing an idea transform into some unique, special events that have a lasting impact on attendees. I choose to work at Academic Innovation because the work we are doing here makes a difference. I really enjoy helping my colleagues tell the story of Academic Innovation through event experiences.
In my current role as Events and Marketing Specialist, I plan and execute all events for the Center for Academic Innovation. These events include public events such as conferences, speaker events, and workshops as well as internal events including team building retreats, social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities. Prior to coming to Academic Innovation, I spent all of my career managing food and beverage operations in the sports and entertainment industry. I have spent time with the Detroit Lions, Super Bowl XLVI, a handful of minor league baseball organizations, and University of Michigan athletics.
