Zhiqing "Jennifer" Zheng

Software Ambassador Postgraduate Fellow

Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

I am passionate about exploring technology utilization and design in the education space, so the work that has been done at Academic Innovation (AI) is truly inspiring to me. I love that AI is working in collaboration to design and support tech-incorporated learning tools and experiences for an inclusive audience. Plus, my experience working with the amazing community here as a student fellow not only taught me so much about the Educational Technology field but also made me meet many friendly and passionate people.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Jennifer is a Software Ambassador Postgraduate Fellow on the Software Operations team. She assists educators in the adoption process by leading consultations, constructing supporting materials, and more. She will utilize her knowledge of learning technology and experience design to tailor the solutions for educators using the software in their curriculums and maximize the benefits of the implementations.

Prior to this position, she worked at AI as a Software Ambassador Student Fellow under James Alexander. Over time, she gained abundant knowledge of the software portfolio at AI and continued growing in communication skills. Meanwhile, she was also a Learning Experience Design Resident under Hedieh Najafi, where she practiced applying educational theories in real-world learning experience design. She also gained experience and knowledge in graphic design, project management, and accessibility by working on other self-directed individual and collaborative projects.
