Market Researcher Fellowship

Pay Rate: Undergraduate $17/hr, Master’s $20/hr, Doctoral $23/hr
Job Duration: 10 – 15 hours for the fall 2023 term, with the possibility of extending the fellowship

Who we’re looking for:

The Marketing and Communication team is looking for a well-rounded, innovative, responsible, driven, and flexible student interested in helping us facilitate market research efforts across the Center’s portfolio of online learning experiences. The ideal candidate demonstrates an interest in various topics related to educational research.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Collect primary and secondary data on learners, competitors, labor markets, and other indicators of demand
  • Interpret, analyze, and synthesize quantitative/qualitative data, reports, and other information from various sources into actionable insights
  • Assist with multiple research projects simultaneously
  • Prepare and present the findings to collaborators and co-workers
  • Assist with the questionnaire and research design
  • Contribute to creating reports and proposals

Student Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in business, economics, marketing, social science, or a related field 
  • Knowledge of market research methods and experience working with statistical packages  
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, qualitative inquiry to include both data collection and analysis
  • Ability to take a big-picture idea and run with it
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
