Marketing Fellow

Pay Rate: Undergraduate $17/hr, Master’s $20/hr, Doctoral $23/hr
Job Duration: Typically between 8-16 hours per week during the fall term, with possibility of extending the fellowship

Who we’re looking for:

The Marketing and Market Strategy team is looking for a student fellow who can support marketing efforts at the Center for Academic Innovation, with a significant emphasis on contributing to the optimization of course descriptions for the center’s portfolio of open online courses, course series, and Teach-Outs available on Michigan Online and Coursera, and also contributing to overall Michigan Online open online course marketing efforts.

Duties may also include process management and workflow tracking in the Asana project management software to ensure project timelines are established, assignments are made appropriately, and project milestones remain on track in coordination with marketing and communications staff members as appropriate.

  • Current U-M Student
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals
  • Ability to evaluate existing content against best practices and marketing objectives
  • General willingness to use and manage project management software
