XR Project Coordination Fellow

Pay Rate: Undergraduate $17/hr, Master’s $20/hr, Doctoral $23/hr
Job Duration: 10-15 hours for Fall 2023 semester, with the possibility of extending the fellowship

Who we’re looking for:

The XR team is looking for a student who is independent, detail-oriented, and reliable to help us manage and support Extended Reality (XR) projects and the U-M community as we seek to enhance the residential education experience and facilitate engaged and personalized learning at the University of Michigan.

What You’ll Accomplish:

  • Manage project tasks and oversee the timely execution and consistency of deliverables across a range of projects, including funded initiatives and engagement events
  • Organize meetings, consultations, and events for the XR program
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and the distribution of information on a timely basis
  • Provide regular support to faculty and students working on XR-related projects
  • Prepare and present project reports and findings to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in business administration, project management, public outreach, digital marketing, product design, educational technology, or a related field
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Comprehensive written and verbal skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulness
  • Experience with at least one of the following:
    • Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
    • Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
    • Establishing and maintaining relationships with faculty and team members
    • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
