Jeffrey Butler

Media Designer

Role: Jeffrey collaborates with faculty and design teams in the design and development of content that enhances the interactivity and engagement of digital learning initiatives, in both online and residential environments. Jeffrey draws on his media experience to envision creative approaches for content delivery. Additionally, he produces videos that document faculty motivations, institutional goals and project outcomes to highlight and inspire continued pedagogical experimentation for the benefit of the University community and beyond.

Experience: Prior to working at Academic Innovation, Jeffrey spent two years in Marquette, Michigan working for Video Concepts. During his time in Marquette he traveled the states doing commercials for businesses and corporations. In addition, he freelanced as a Production Assistant and Assistant Director on feature films, short films, commercials and television. There he developed a comprehensive understanding of the production process.
