Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

I am inspired by the commitment of the University of Michigan to innovate and lead in new approaches to higher education. Working with Academic Innovation provides an opportunity to be actively engaged in empowering faculty and staff across the institution in the development of new approaches to serve our students and alumni.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

David works the University of Michigan Colleges and Schools on the implementation of online and hybrid programs. David has dedicated his career to the development of institutional capacity in online learning, first as Director, Educational Support and Online Learning at Southern Polytechnic State University (now a part of Kennesaw State University) and most recently as Director of Collaborative Programs at the Pennsylvania State University. His graduate research focused on how higher education institutions and systems make the planned change to offer online programs.
