Current Roles/Previous Experience:

In this role, Eric has the opportunity to leverage his multidimensional repertoire of advertising, branding, communications, and marketing skills. He helps faculty and the Center teams to think about how they can promote their new innovations through social media, email marketing, and paid advertising. He seeks storytelling opportunities to showcase the journey and impact of their innovative approach to shaping the higher education landscape for the 21st century. He looks at the data behind the marketing and communications activities to celebrate successes and opportunities for adjustment. He stewards the Center for Academic Innovation and Michigan Online brands.

Prior to joining U-M, Eric worked as the Online Marketing Coordinator at Central Michigan University supporting online degree and certificate programs. While at CMU, he gained extensive experience managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms as well as developing and executing social media communications strategies. He also spent time as a reporter for The Saginaw News located in his hometown of Saginaw, Michigan.
