Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation
From tiny games on my Apple II to smoking cessation mobile apps, I’ve always enjoyed striving to make experiences for end-users easier and maybe even a little bit fun. I truly enjoy and treat life as an iterative experience whenever I can.
Current Roles/Previous Experience
I’m a UX Designer (UXD) at AI on the Software Tools team, here to help AI’s software evolve through creating, implementing, testing, and iterating. I work closely with software engineers and behavioral & data scientists.
Before stepping in with AI, Ian was a Multimedia Designer at the Center for Health Communication Research. During the 12 years there, I wore many hats from visual designer to front-end developer to video editor, working alongside teams of software engineers and behavioral scientists creating public health interventions.
