Pay Rate: Undergraduate $17/hr, Master’s $20/hr, Doctoral $23/hr
Job Duration: 20-40 hours/week for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester, with the possibility of extending the fellowship

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Work with the Online and Hybrid Program Management team to create documentation to assist Academic Units in program development.
  • Work with partners across CAI including: Operations and Policy, Design Management, Learning Experience Design and Accessibility to develop understanding of domain specific work in the creation of online and hybrid programs.
  • Develop preferred practices and design strategies for implementation in developing online and hybrid programs.
  • Review existing program development processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Attend and contribute to team and Center of Academic Innovation events, as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Management Team.

Experience and Skills You’ll Gain:

Gain knowledge of online program development, course design, review processes, and publishing workflows at the leading edge of online learning. Gain experience working within a dynamic, fast paced team environment. Develop presentation skills. Participate in evaluation and research opportunities.

Student Qualifications:

  • An interest in digital education, program development, academic administration, educational research, instructional technologies, and process development.
  • Experience with writing documentation for varied audiences.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Current student at the University of Michigan.
  • Experience as a student with online education.
  • Interest in the field of academic administration/program management.
