Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

As long as I can remember, I have been passionate about the University of Michigan, taking to heart the mantra of “Leaders and Best”; working at Academic Innovation offers me the chance to share that passion with the widest possible audience, while contributing to the academic reputation that drives that passion.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

As Program Manager for the Online and Hybrid Programs team, I work with Academic Units, vendor partners, and other teams within Academic Innovation to create exemplary online degree and credit pathway programs. In this work, I continually think through the process of developing online programming, and how to counsel academic units through the challenges, successes and everything in between in delivering online education.

Before joining the Academic Innovation team, I practiced as an attorney in Chicago in the areas of Business Litigation, Insurance Coverage, and as an E-Discovery specialist. While practicing law, I taught LSAT preparatory courses to scratch my teaching itch. Prior to my practice as an attorney, I taught at U-M in the Residential College and History department.
