Innovation Blend: Artificial Intelligence Open Online Courses Drop-In Session

Date & Time

November 14, 2023, 1:00 PM - November 14, 2023, 2:00 PM

Location

Center for Academic Innovation – 317 Maynard Street

Faculty are invited to join members of the Center for Academic Innovation over coffee to discuss ideas for short open online courses or series of courses in response to the center's latest call for proposals on artificial intelligence concepts and skills.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and generative artificial intelligence tools are developing at a rapid pace. Students and learners in the United States and around the world must develop fluency in the essential concepts and role-based applications of these tools to thrive in future workplaces. In response to this pressing need, the center invites University of Michigan faculty to submit proposals for short Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and series that provide the knowledge and skills to empower students and learners in the era of AI in the workplace.

During these drop-in sessions, center staff will be available to discuss faculty members' ideas, their alignment with the call, the submission process, and offer any constructive feedback as faculty progress through the proposal submission process.
