Join the Center for Academic Innovation for an engaging Innovation Insights Keynote presented by Jamie Voris, the Chief Technology Officer at The Walt Disney Studios. In this talk, Voris will explore how extended reality (XR) and other emerging technologies could influence the future of storytelling and entertainment. He’ll give us a look into how his teams build immersive experiences at Disney for new platforms like the Apple Vision Pro and will share his perspective on how transformative these technologies will be in areas like education and beyond.

About Jamie Voris

As Chief Technology Officer for The Walt Disney Studios, Jamie is responsible for the oversight and strategic leadership of the technology that supports the company’s content creation businesses. In addition, Jamie also leads a Research and Innovation organization that spans from StudioLAB (advanced development through partnerships with corporations like Microsoft, BMW, and Accenture) to Disney Research Studios (an academic-focused long-range research partnership based in Zurich, Switzerland).
