The unanticipated difficult airway is among the most critical and stressful emergencies faced by anesthesia providers. By immersing learners in a realistic virtual environment, we believe trainees will show greater retention of the difficult airway algorithm, improved acquisition of crisis resource management skills, and report higher engagement and enjoyment in the learning process.
