Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

I choose to work at Academic Innovation because I wanted to give back in some way with the skills I’ve acquired through the years. Helping create better access to education and exploring important social issues really stuck out to me.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Currently, I am a Media Designer at Academic Innovation. I help create online courses and content for Michigan Online.

Previously, I worked and lived in Marquette, Michigan for a couple of years, traveling and creating commercials for a media production company. I’ve done a lot in the freelancing landscape ranging from working on feature films, short films, documentaries, commercials, events as well as industrial videos.

In my free time I enjoy writing, whether it be screenplays or short stories. My passion is filmmaking and telling stories in that medium.

Ask Me to Learn About

I am a cinephile. If you want to talk movies, directors, cinematographers, writers or just looking for some general film/filmmaking conversation, I’m happy to share.

If you have questions about film and video equipment, I am an open book.

I also know way too much about the Detroit Lions and am an avid Fantasy Football participant. I enjoy playing video games and table top RPG’s.
