Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

I choose to work at Academic Innovation because it’s the place on campus where my interest in teaching, learning, technology, and applied research can be actualized to produce effective, efficient, and engaging online learning experiences. Combined with the fact that very smart, talented, skilled, and overall cool folks work here makes it that much better and worthwhile.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

As the lead for the Course Operations team, I help ensure that engagement with the Center’s content, courses, and programs is exceptional. Our team also works to optimize U-M’s online learning portfolio by collaborating with faculty to evaluate the performance of initiatives, scope and manage iteration to content, and identify opportunities to support learners in advancing throughout learning pathways. Previous experience includes serving as Learning Experience Design Lead with CAI and serving as the director for instructional product development for a non-profit K-12 online learning organization.
