Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

I chose to join the team at CAI because it is a collaborative bunch that enjoys what they do and takes pride in making education more accessible and visible in the world. It’s obvious that the folks here are committed to excellence which is inspiring and motivating to me. Joining CAI Media Design team is way for me to produce content that can make a positive difference in the world and in my community.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Sam brings a range of skills and experience to his role as Media Designer. Before joining CAI, he worked at Madison Avenue Marketing Group as a Videographer working with large clients, elevating their brands. Before that, Sam spent years working in educational media production with roles at Ball State University and Central Indiana Educational Service Center. As a side hobby, Sam is a freelance camera operator for ESPN and various other sports networks. Sam is also an experienced drone pilot, certified by the FAA in 2017.

I have worked on more than 1,000 live sports broadcasts over the past decade as a camera operator, audio mixer or other crew positions. It’s exciting to talk to others about how that world works.
