Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

I chose to work at the Center of Academic Innovation because the university played an important role in developing who I am as a learner, marketer and person, and I wanted to find a way to give back to the community. The Center’s mission and core values are strongly aligned with my beliefs and I am excited to be part of a team that is committed to helping move the university toward innovative teaching and learning techniques and technologies. Who’s got it better?

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Whitney will be working on the digital marketing strategy and execution of CAI’s degree programs and Ed Tech tools. Whitney has been working in marketing and advertising for the past 12 years, starting her career in analytics for a couple smaller agencies and then moving to support General Motors through their agency of record, Carat. She transitioned to strategic marketing work for GM direct in 2017, where her focus was on thinking holistically about campaigns from an audience perspective, helping deliver messaging to the target audience at the optimal time. Most recently, Whitney came from DTE, where she supported the renewable energy sales team with marketing efforts as well as internal sales support
