Ana oversees the center’s talent management and organizational development portfolio and has responsibilities in overall operations management such as overseeing the center’s facilities team, co-leading the development and implementation of center-wide policies, processes and initiatives in close partnership with the Chief Operating Officer. Ana also partners with the center’s senior leadership in key organizational design planning and center-level internal communications. Ana brings extensive experience in change management, communication and planning in organizations and is passionate about developing others by using a strengths-based approach. She works closely with the Academic Innovation leadership team to create career development opportunities and professional growth for all team members. She also provides career coaching and individual development plan guidance for team members.
Ana brings a wide-range of expertise from previous roles in other areas since joining the University of Michigan in 2002. Prior to her current role at Academic Innovation, she held positions at University Housing, the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the Center for Health and Research Transformation in Michigan Medicine where she managed all HR operations, employee engagement and organizational development functions.
