Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

This opportunity with the Center for Academic Innovation brings together my background knowledge and passion for accessible and equitable education with my administrative skills. The University has been instrumental in my education and professional growth and I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the meaningful work done by the Center and to be a part of the ever changing education landscape.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Catherine is the executive assistant to the Center director. Prior to this position she was an executive assistant and project assistant to the Vice Provost for Engaged Learning Team and most recently been an administrative assistant at the Institute for Social Research serving three programs. At ISR, Catherine was responsible for event planning, product ordering, expense reconciling, general office management, and much more. Before joining the University, Catherine was an elementary teacher and taught Kindergarten-3rd grade in Arkansas. She taught in both the virtual and in-person environments and well versed in the educational technology that can enhance the learning experience for all students.
