James DeVaney, Associate Vice Provost for Academic Innovation, describes our efforts to lower barriers to high-quality education from the University of Michigan through language translations in massive open online courses.
Academic Innovation team members, James Park and Rebecca Quintana, discuss the collaborative creation of the Gallery Tool, designed by our office to use in MOOCs to allow learners to share text- or image-based work with other learners in an easy and open manner, with the opportunity to receive robust feedback on their work from other learners.
As the Office of Academic Innovation continues to evolve, we take a look at how we are building upon a diverse library of online learning experiences and an expanding portfolio of digital educational technology tools.
Emma plans on teaching the class in the last week of July, and anticipates that class?s size to be approximately 5-7 students. With all content under a Creative Commons license, Dr. Chuck has made his course easily remixable and sharable by any student.
