Why I Choose to Work at Academic Innovation

Leading the next generation of transformative technologies is rooted in solving pain points for different audiences, and that is what I have cultivated in my previous work experiences. I have a track record of creating initiatives from the ground up to become successful, impactful, and sustainable organizations that utilize technology to change the world. I am confident that my experience and leadership will drive the University of Michigan to the next level in creating a leading center of XR for faculty, industry, students, and the community to change the world.

Current Roles/Previous Experience

Jeremy leads the XR Initiative at the University of Michigan where they are focused on bringing XR technologies for teaching and learning to all 19 schools and colleges in the Ann Arbor campus as well as bringing XR to their over 10 million global learners. The XR Initiative works with faculty to reimagine how they teach courses using technologies such as augmented and virtual reality for skill-building, engineering, nursing, medicine, and social sciences. Prior to joining AI, Jeremy was the co-founder and managing partner for Afia Inc, an Ann Arbor based healthcare consulting firm that worked with organizations across the country to assist in selecting and implementing technology solutions to improve processes and patient experiences.
